Junior SEO Specialist

• Pay Grade: The salary for this role ranges between 22,000 to 28,000 INR monthly, based on experience and expertise.
• Reporting Person: This position directly reports to the Senior Web Developer.
• Shift Timing: Standard working hours are from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, Monday to Saturday, with an 8-hour workday that includes multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break.

• Job Purpose: The Junior SEO Specialist is crucial to the growth and visibility of our clients’ businesses. They are responsible for planning, implementing and managing our SEO strategy and to ensure that all SEO efforts are aligned with our clients’ objectives.
• Job Importance: This role is a pillar in achieving our mission to enhance our clients’ lead generation or bookings, by increasing their online visibility. The Junior SEO Specialist directly contributes to our clients’ business growth, and thus, to our company’s success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and manage SEO strategy.
• Conduct keyword research and selection for pay-per-click campaigns and SEO projects.
• Analyze websites and document changes required for SEO.
• Monitor, track, and report on SEO performance and trends.
• Communicate SEO strategy/results to clients and internal teams.
• Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and implement rectifications.
• Utilize SEO tools and analytics to monitor website performance.
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing and sales, to ensure SEO efforts are cohesive.

Qualification:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or relevant field.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in SEO or similar role.

Overall Qualification:

• Certification in SEO or Digital Marketing would be a plus.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of current SEO practices and techniques.
• Proficiency in relevant SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, and SE Ranking.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Understanding of web analytics, especially Google Analytics and Search Console.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and website administrations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of keyword research and its application in SEO.

Expertise:

• Proficiency in Google Sheets for tracking, monitoring, and managing data.

Working Conditions:

• Start Time: 10:30 AM
• Finish Time: 7:30 PM
• Working Hours: 40-45 hours per week.
• Lunch / Tea Breaks: Multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break are provided.
• Travel Hours: Commute time should ideally be within 45 minutes to an hour.
