Junior Technical SEO Developer

• Pay Grade: This position falls within the company’s pay scale of 30,000 to 40,000 INR monthly.
• Reporting Person: This position will directly report to the Senior Web Developer.
• Shift Timing: The standard working hours for this position are from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm.

Job Summary:

• Job Purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to perform technical SEO analysis, manage all technical aspects related to the Google Search Console and ensure our clients’ websites are error-free.
• Job Importance: This role is essential to improving the visibility of our clients’ websites on search engines, ultimately contributing to increased lead generation and bookings.
• Job Significance: This role has a significant impact on the success of our client campaigns as it influences the visibility and searchability of their businesses online.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive technical SEO analysis.
• Regularly manage and review Google Search Console.
• Set up and deliver SEO reports to senior web developers and clients.
• Ensure optimal strategic banner placements and pop-up installations on client websites.
• Address and fix technical SEO issues promptly.
• Identify and fix issues that could hinder search engine crawling and indexing.
• Prepare SEO reports and directly liaise with clients and senior web developer.
• Enhance conversion rates through effective placement of strategic banners or pop-up installations on client websites.

Qualification:

Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in a Technical SEO role is essential.

Overall Qualification:

• Google Analytics and Google Search Console certifications would be preferred.

Skills:

• Expertise in SEO tools like Google Search Console, SE Ranking, and Screaming Frog.
• Solid understanding of Google Analytics, web traffic, and conversion rate optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to rectify technical issues in RankMath and other SEO tools.
• Ability to publish blogs, build landing pages, and duplicate existing landing pages as needed.

Knowledge:

• A comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices and trends.
• Familiarity with WordPress site development and other website building platforms.
• An understanding of the digital marketing landscape, particularly in relation to small businesses.
• Expertise: The candidate should have demonstrated expertise in the application of technical SEO tools and strategies, along with website development and troubleshooting.

Working Conditions:

• Start Time: 10.30 am
• Finish Time: 7.30 pm
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week.
• Lunch / Tea Breaks: Multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break.
• Travel Hours: 45 minutes to an hour of commute.
