This includes researching and writing articles, blog posts, and other forms of content for our clients’ websites. The Junior Web Content Writer is expected to have a firm understanding of SEO and digital marketing in order to optimize their content for search engine rankings.

Job Responsibilities:

Research and write SEO-friendly articles, blogs, and web content
Perform keyword research and integrate findings into content
Collaborate with various departments for content briefing
Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO techniques and digital marketing trends
Creation of well-researched and high-quality content
Implement SEO strategies through content creation
Work collaboratively with the SEO and Marketing team for optimal content performance
Ongoing learning and application of the latest SEO techniques and digital marketing trends

Qualification:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field is preferred.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in web content writing, particularly for SEO purposes.

Overall Qualification:

Certification in SEO or digital marketing is a plus.

Skills:

Strong command over the English language
Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize complex information
Strong understanding of SEO best practices
Excellent time management skills
Quick learner, able to grasp new writing techniques swiftly

Knowledge:

Sound understanding of digital marketing concepts
Proficiency in SEO and keyword research
Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms
Understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in creating engaging, SEO-friendly web content.

Working Conditions:

Start Time: 10.30 am
Finish Time: 7.30 pm
Working Hours: 45 hours per week.
Lunch / Tea Breaks: Multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break.
Travel Hours: Commute to New Alipore, Calcutta location within 45 minutes to an hour.
