Job Summary:

  • Job Purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to develop, implement, and manage client SEO campaigns to ensure organic growth and boost client businesses. The Senior SEO Specialist is expected to have a deep understanding of SEO techniques and will be responsible for client reporting, mentoring junior specialists, and troubleshooting major account issues.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Development and Execution of Advanced SEO Strategies: Lead the planning, development, and implementation of comprehensive and innovative SEO strategies to enhance organic search engine performance for our clients. This includes keyword research, SEO audits, on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO tweaks, and content strategy optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration for Campaign Creation: Work collaboratively with diverse cross-functional teams, including content, design, web development, and marketing departments. Provide SEO input from the conception phase to execution to enhance the effectiveness of campaigns and achieve optimal search engine visibility.
  • Comprehensive Reporting and Analytics: Regularly monitor, track, and present SEO performance metrics using advanced analytics tools. Provide clients with detailed reports on KPIs, SEO campaign performance, and the impact of SEO initiatives on overall business goals. Propose data-driven recommendations and adjustments to continuously improve performance.
  • Leadership and Mentorship of Junior SEO Specialists: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior SEO Specialists, fostering a supportive and proactive learning environment. Oversee their work to ensure the quality and consistency of SEO initiatives across all client projects.
  • Continuous Learning and Adoption of Latest SEO Techniques: Stay abreast of industry trends, Google algorithm updates, and new tools/techniques in the SEO space. Regularly invest in self-education and the acquisition of new skills. Lead the team in adapting to these changes, ensuring that the agency’s SEO practices remain cutting-edge and compliant with industry standards.
  • Design and Implementation of Local SEO Strategies: Considering our focus on local businesses, design, and implement local SEO strategies that boost visibility within relevant geolocations. This includes optimizing Google My Business profiles, managing online reviews and ratings, local-centric social media updates, and localized content creation.
  • Technical SEO Management: Conduct technical SEO analysis and make necessary website adjustments to improve crawlability and indexability. This includes managing site speed, mobile optimization, XML sitemaps, schema markup, and more.
  • Link Building Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective link-building strategies for clients. Identify high-quality link opportunities, conduct outreach, and monitor link profile health.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients by providing regular updates, responding to queries promptly, and understanding their unique business needs and goals. Be the key point of contact for all SEO-related needs and inquiries.
  • SEO Training and Advocacy: Educate both internal stakeholders and clients about the importance of SEO, its impact on digital marketing efforts, and how specific initiatives contribute to broader business goals.

Qualification:

  • Education: A degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in an SEO-focused role.
  • Overall Qualification: Certification in SEO or related digital marketing areas would be beneficial.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, understanding of SEO tools (like Ahrefs, SE Ranking, SEMrush, etc.), strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities are crucial.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of SEO strategies, web analytics, keyword research, and content marketing is needed.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in managing SEO initiatives, mentoring teams, and handling client relationships is required.

Working Conditions:

  • Start Time: 10:30 am
  • Finish Time: 7:30 pm
  • Working Hours: 40-45 hours per week.
  • Lunch / Tea Breaks: Multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break.
  • Travel Hours: Commute time should be within 45 minutes to an hour.
  • Location: In-house work.
