Senior Technical SEO Developer

• Pay Grade: This position falls within the higher pay scale of the company, reflecting the seniority and responsibilities associated with the role. The salary range is 45-70k INR.
• Reporting Person: This position will directly report to the Digital Marketing Manager.
• Shift Timing: The standard working hours are from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm, including multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break.
• Department Name: This position resides in the SEO Department.
• Location: The role is located in New Alipore, Calcutta. However, there is flexibility for a mix of remote and in-office work based on circumstances.

Job Summary:

• Job Purpose: The primary purpose of this role within SEO ORB is to ensure the SEO success of our clients’ accounts by leveraging their technical knowledge and expertise.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive SEO audits for clients
• Developing and implementing SEO strategies based on competitive analysis and industry-specific research
• Managing client communication and setting expectations
• Resolving technical issues on client websites
• Training and guiding the SEO team
• Devising and implementing technical SEO strategies
• Troubleshooting technical issues on client websites

Qualification:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields is preferred.
• Additional SEO and digital marketing certifications would be advantageous.

Experience:

• Proven work experience (6+ years) in a similar role, ideally within a digital marketing agency.

Overall Qualification:

• Strong understanding of SEO principles and industry trends.

Skills:

• Proficiency in coding languages such as PHP, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google My Business, and others.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and client servicing skills.

Knowledge:

• Comprehensive knowledge of SEO and digital marketing landscape.
• Familiarity with relevant tools and platforms used in SEO strategies.

Expertise:

• Demonstrated expertise in strategizing and implementing effective SEO strategies.
• Proven track record in resolving technical SEO issues.

Working Conditions:

• Start Time: 10.30 am
• Finish Time: 7.30 pm
• Working Hours: 40-45 hours per week.
• Lunch / Tea Breaks: Multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break are provided.
• Travel Hours: Commute of 30 mins to an hour at max is expected.
