Senior Web Content Writer

• Pay Grade: This position falls within a salary range of 40,000 – 70,000 INR, based on experience and qualifications.
• Reporting Person: This position reports to various department heads including Media Bank, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Website Development, Technical SEO, and at times directly to the CEO.
• Shift Timing: Standard working hours are from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm with multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break.
• Department Name: This position resides in the Content Writing/Copywriting Department.
• Location: This role will be located at our New Alipore, Calcutta location, with flexibility for a mix of remote and in-house work as circumstances dictate.

Job Summary:

• Job Purpose: The Senior Web Content Writer’s primary purpose is to deliver exceptionally high-quality articles and landing page copies tailored to our clients’ needs. The role involves rigorous research, adaptation to evolving copywriting techniques, innovation in optimization strategies, and analysis of SEO impact using Google Analytics and Search Console.

• Write high-quality, SEO-optimized articles and landing page copies.

Qualification:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in similar fields are a plus.
• Experience: At least five years of professional content writing or copywriting experience, preferably in a digital marketing agency, is required.

Overall Qualification:

• Excellent command over the English language.
• Strong knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts.
• Proficient in using content management systems and SEO tools.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console.

Working Conditions:

• Start Time: The workday begins at 10:30 am.
• Finish Time: The workday ends at 7:30 pm.
• Working Hours: The role is expected to work eight hours per day, from Monday to Saturday.
• Lunch / Tea Breaks: Multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break are provided throughout the workday.
• Travel Hours: The commute to our New Alipore, Calcutta location should be within 45 minutes to an hour.
