Senior Video Editor

• Pay Grade: This position falls within a salary range of 18,000 to 30,000 INR per month, depending on the experience and skills of the candidate.
• Reporting Person: This position will directly report to the Media Buyers, Senior Google Ad Specialists, Facebook Ad Specialists, and Senior Web Developers.
• Shift Timing: The expected working hours are 10.30 am to 7.30 pm, with multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break.
• Department Name: This position resides in the Content Creation Department.
• Location: This role will be located in New Alipore, Calcutta. However, a mix of remote and in-house work is available.

Job Summary:

• Job Purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to generate compelling video advertisements based on client specifications to boost ad performance across multiple departments.
• Job Importance: This role is vital in portraying the client’s vision and message effectively to their target audience, thereby contributing to their business growth.
• Job Significance: The video editor’s output directly affects the quality and effectiveness of our clients’ marketing campaigns, impacting the overall performance and reputation of SEO ORB.

Contribution:

• Creating and editing videos that align with client specifications.
• Employing various techniques, including music, sound effects, and animations, to enhance video production.
• Assisting in editing the company’s internal SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and documenting them.
• Collaborating with the team to generate innovative ideas for video content.

Job Challenges: 

• Deadline: Timely delivery of high-quality video content is expected, adhering to the project timelines and deadlines provided by clients or the internal team.
• Punctuality: SEO ORB maintains a flexible approach to work timings within a casual, relaxed environment. However, completion of tasks within deadlines is crucial.
• Quality: The role is expected to uphold superior standards of quality in line with the company’s reputation in the market.
• Accuracy: High levels of accuracy are required in this role, both in terms of interpreting client requirements and reflecting them in the final video content.
• Hierarchy Level: This position is an Executive role.

Qualification:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Graphic Design, or related field is preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a video editing role.
• Overall Qualification: A professional certification in video editing would be a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
• Knowledge: The candidate should possess a solid understanding of storytelling techniques in the context of video editing, sound design, and a keen sense of aesthetics.
• Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in creating and editing engaging video content.

Working Conditions: 

• Start Time: 10.30 am
• Finish Time: 7.30 pm
• Working Hours: 40-45 hours per week.
• Lunch / Tea Breaks: Multiple tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break are provided.
• Travel Hours: Commute time to our New Alipore, Calcutta location should be within 45 minutes to an hour.
